Way of Infinite Harmony
Spreading the message of Her Holiness Princess Ma Gu

Beliefs & Practices

The beliefs of the Way of Infinite Harmony are Taoist. To find out about Taoism click here

Devotees follow the example and teachings of Her Holiness Princess Ma Gu, Goddess of Hemp (Taoist Immortal Xu Miao) as understood from the scriptures and stories that feature her.

These teachings can be revealed to the spiritual pactitioner who reads the sacred scriptures contained upon this website (and those few available in print) and has a knowledge in meditation, and an open heart. (It is not for this website to lay out a dogmatic system for people to try and emulate.)

As well as the set of translated Way of Infinite Harmony scriptures contained on this website, we promote reading of the Daozhang (Taoist Canon), primarily the Tao Te Ching, Chuang Tzu, Lieh Tzu, Hua Hu Ching + Wen Tzu.

The interpretation of these texts is up to the practitioner. Being of the lineage of the Hermit there are no strict rules to follow as regards diet, ritual, meditation etc… It is however generally accepted that herb smoking should be pure and through a water pipe to avoid unnecessary ingestion of chemicals used in the harvesting of Herb in our modern cities.

To follow the Way of Infinite Harmony just open your heart to Ma Gu, smoke, eat or drink the Herb of which she is co-terminus and while in this most blissful and sacred state the Gate to the Mystery of Mysteries can open.
